SHAMROCK ROVERS v BRAY

Tuesday 30th May 2017 – Kickoff: 2000hrs

Football – Ireland – Premier Division Betting Tips

The Irish Premier Division season is now well underway, and my next pick features a top half clash between hosts and fifth placed Shamrock Rovers and visitors, Bray who sit in third place ahead of this encounter at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin.

Shamrock have suffered a couple of defeats in recent weeks as they’ve lost to Derry City and Cork City although it should be noted that both of these losses were incurred away from home, while their overall home form has started in reasonable enough fashion, with stats of  5-1-2  12/8.

Following a couple of early defeats at home, Shamrock’s current form on home turf has really picked up as they’ve gained four wins and a draw since. Wins over Finn Harps, Sligo Rovers, Dundalk and Galway United should give the hosts confidence for this clash.

Bray are third in the Irish Premier Division and have a five point cushion over their hosts although they’ve picked up just one league win from their last six matches overall, so there’s no guarantees for them to pick up all three points here.

Their one win during this six game sequence was a 3-0 win at Finn Harps, while their overall away record stands at  4-1-3  16/12. The positive thing that Bray brings into their away matches though above all, is that they’ve scored in 7 of their 8 away matches to date, and with the likes of leading goalscoring midfielder McCabe (12 goals), supported by Greene and Connolly (5 goals apiece), they could strike again here tonight.

Shamrock are no shrinking violets either as they’ve scored in 7 of their 8 home matches to date too, so the omens look good for both teams to score here.

Pick: Both teams to score @ 1.69 Comeon
