Sunderland to succumb to Swans' song

Premier League Tips

SUNDERLAND v SWANSEA CITY

Football – England – Premier League Betting Tips

Sunderland find themselves in a bit of early season bother as they currently prop up the Premier League with no points gained from their first two matches of the season – it’s still early days of course but the warning signs are there for all to see already.

Sunderland might have thought they had an easier start to the new campaign than most with a trip away at Leicester City, followed by a home match against Premier League newcomers Norwich City, but as is often the case, things haven’t turned out that way at all.

A 4-2 loss to The Foxes was further compounded by last weekend’s 3-1 home defeat to Norwich City with Dick Advocaat’s men left pointless after two matches, with the thought of perhaps picking up at least two points from these games flying out of the window.

It’s now five Premier league games without a win for The Black Cats who had previously lost at Chelsea and drawn with both Arsenal and Leicester City (the last three games of last season).

Visitors Swansea City have continued their progress under manager Garry Monk (who has incidentally played for Swansea City in each of the four professional divisions in England), as they look to build upon last season’s impressive finish of 8th place.

It’s a far-cry from the dark days where they almost went into extinction to where they are now, but had work and sensible money-management have proved that Swansea can go onto achieve perhaps a place in Europe in the next season or so.

The Swans opened their account with a 2-2 draw away at Stamford Bridge no less which was then followed with a 2-0 home win over Newcastle United who are really going nowhere fast, and could well find themselves fighting a relegation battle this term.

But back to Swansea, and despite the loss of striker Wilfred Bony to Manchester City, The Swans still continue to find a way of grinding out some really great results and with forwards such as Ayew, Gomis and Montero in their ranks, I reckon they’re worth a shot at the Stadium of Light this afternoon. Swansea could nick this perhaps 1-0.

Pick: Swansea City straight win @ 2.10 Coral
