Although Watford have registered just one Premier League win from their last eight league matches overall, The Hornets head into their encounter with Burnley on the back of a three-match unbeaten run in the English top flight.
Draws with Middlesbrough 0-0 at home and a 2-2 draw away at Bournemouth were the platforms upon which Watford scored a remarkable 2-1 win away at Arsenal during the week and they’ll no doubt head into this afternoon’s match in confident mood having turned The Gunners over at The Emirates!

Burnley recently moved up into the relative safety and comfort of a mid-table position following their 1-0 home win over Premier League title holders Leicester City during the week, and it looks like The Clarets will have done enough at Turf Moor to secure another season in the English top flight.
Burnley hold a good record of 9-1-3 21/11 on home turf, but the same can’t be said for their exploits away from home where they hold a miserable record of 0-1-9 4/22 as they’ve registered just one point from a possible 30 on offer so far this season!
Six away defeats on the trot is something that manager Sean Dyche will need to address if Burnley are to ensure their safety, but Watford are a tricky outfit to overcome particularly at Vicarage Road.
