There was a big winner on the weekend at bookmaker Boylesports as a Co. Louth punter scooped over €125k from a €2 wager. The bet was on the lotto and split into two parts, a €1 accumulator on five numbers and a €1 treble, both on Saturday night’s Lotto Plus 2 draw.
The €1 accumulator consisted of the five numbers 7, 13, 28, 31 and 42 which, when all drawn, returned the punter a life changing windfall of €125,001. That’s how to win on the lotto without actually play the lotto.
But that of course wasn’t all of it as their €1 treble on the numbers 13, 28 and 42 also clicked seeing an extra €626 added to their winnings.
So combined, from the two tiny €1 bets the punter strolled away from the weekend €125,627 better off.
