WONDERWALL claimed a second place finish a month ago on his latest effort, which was at Newbury.

He had kept on well in that one and the day could have panned out better for him had he not made a big mistake at the last jump.

Wonderwall should at least come on with an improvement for having gotten the hurdles debut out of the way.

CITY CHIEF looks like a good prospect and he put in a good hurdle debut at Ascot last month.

He was second in that one, staying on well but City Chief just ran out of room in which to operate.

City Chief was an expensive purchase and should be right there for a top yard.

WATERGRANGE JACK does have some solid form behind him and will have his first run for a new yard on Tuesday.

He will also be looking to follow up after scoring in an Irish bumper in September.

This will be his hurdles debut and could have something to offer.

THE STREET is the final shortlisted selection from this big field at Doncaster.

He has put together some encouraging runs and was third over the hurdles here at Doncaster on his latest effort in December.

That was a massive improvement from an indifferent hurdles debut.

Tip: WONDERWALL 5/4

Ones to watch: Watergrange Jack 10/1, The Street 8/1

CHAMPAGNE SUPER OVER was third on his latest effort, which was at Exeter last month in a novices contest.

The move to handicapping looks about right for him and as he appears to be going the right way over the fences warrants some respect.

ERNE RIVER makes the move to the fences for the first time. It’s also his first effort in handicapping.

There was a victory at the venue for him last year, and he also went on to back it up with another victory over the timbers at Warwick a couple of months later.

The chance of Erne River is not to be dismissed.

OUR POWER comes up 5lb after recent success in a handicap chase at Wincanton a month ago.

He was never looking in any trouble in that one and will probably relish some stiffer challenges along the way. Our Power is interesting in this one.

THE GOLDEN REBEL is another that warrants some respect after getting off the mark over the fences in December.

That was a course and distance win for him when he was just pushed on hard.

The Golden Rebel faces a tougher run here but brings his own strong claims to proceedings.

Tip: OUR POWER 5/1

Ones to watch: The Golden Rebel 6/1, Erne River 8/1

RAYMOND TUSK is one to watch after he took a massive step forward from a relatively indifferent hurdles debut.

That latest run saw Raymond Tusk take a second-place finish at Newbury. If he’s truly heading in the right direction, he poses a threat.

MORKO DE VASSY won a bumper and then a hurdles debut at Hereford to get himself up and running very quickly.

He probably would have gone very close to making it three front three when he was at Huntingdon last time out. Morko De Vassy took a tumble two from home.

He’s up 7lb from his win at Hereford on his penultimate, but warrants respect.

GREAT HEART’JAC hasn’t been seen since October, but he was ticking along in some fairly useful form then.

Great Heart’Jac made his hurdles debut with a second place finish in a Novice at Hereford on his latest run.

It looked like a careful and considerate run, so there could be more to come.

Tip: RAYMOND TUSK 2/1

Ones to watch: Great Heart’jac 13/2, Moriko De Vassy 11/4

ON CALL missed out on a hattrick chance when he pulled up at Exeter on a longer trip 39 days ago.

He didn’t look like a stayer in that one, so will be back down in the distance which puts him in the fame.

On Call has really kicked on superbly since having made the move to chasing.

On his penultimate run, he made all to easily score at Chepstow in this sphere and a revival is not out of the question after that recent misfire.

BRETNEY looks like a good strong one who will stick in there and fight.

He got off the mark with a Uttoxeter handicap score last month.

There has been an 8lb rise for him as he returns in search of a follow-up. Bretney looks primed for big tests of stamina however and could still get there.

THE MACON LUGNATIC is an interesting contender here as he has won twice before at Doncaster.

So that course history is a good positive and this is an easier race than what he dealt with last time out as well.

He was fourth at Newbury last month at a higher grade.

The Macon Lunatic is down 2lb and not without some claims for horse racing betting.

Tip: THE MACON LUNATIC 7/2

Ones to watch: Bretney 7/2, On Call 6/1

GEORGES SAINT had a good time of things in both chasing and over the hurdles the last term in France.

He had his first run for Vanessa Williams at Haydock just under two weeks ago and showed signs of encouragement there to take third.

Georges Saint will go into handicapping for the first time and looks like he will rate as a danger.

KISSESFORKATIE could be the one to beat in this contest after picking up a very good course and distance win 10 days ago.

Kissesforkatie had plenty to spare in that one as well. She will be under a tougher challenge as she comes up 7lb but still commands respect.

BLACKJACK MAGIC can’t be written out of this one wither. He got off the mark in October at Lingfield and then looked in the frame on his follow up a month ago.

That latest run was at the same venue and it was an effort in which he was travelling very well before falling.

Blackjack Magic would likely have taken a place finish, so warrants respect if there’s a clear run coming.

Tip: GEORGES SAINT 11/4

Ones to watch: Kissesforkatie 6/4, Blackjack Magic 15/2

MORNING SPIRIT has been in positive form lately, with two runner up spots in his last three.

The most recent of those was at course and distance in December.

That was the second effort over the fences for Morning Spirit, who should have more to come.

EDE’IFFS ELTON is likely going to be a big player as well in this contest after a second a couple of weeks ago at Wincanton.

There was a lot of encouragement there in that handicap chase and he shoved up 5lb for it.

Ede’iffs Elton is making excellent progress and is one of the best in horse racing betting.

WIN MY WINGS could be worth looking at after just losing her way a little bit the last twice.

Win My Wings was a winner on her appearance, completing a double.

She was last seen up at Listed level at Newbury in which she pulled up. This is an easier assignment for her.

Tip: MORNING SPIRIT 7/2

Ones to watch: Ede’iffs Elton 3/1, Win My Wings 12/1
