BLAZE A TRAIL landed a handicap at course and distance last time. He shook off some indifferent form in that.
He is now up in class and gets an extra 6lb to work with. But Blaze A Trail does make it onto the shortlist in his handicap chase because of that latest effort.
STEADY THE SHIP has been in good consistent form recently and is expected to be in the frame on Monday.
He did open his chasing career with back-to-back wins at Southwell earlier this year.
Steady The Ship is likely to be heavily involved.
SMITH’S BAY seems to be in a better mood lately and as well is on a good threatening note at the moment.
He’s been switched back to chasing this season. There was a runner-up finish by the 9-year-old at course and distance earlier this summer.

FORECAST makes a return on Monday from a break of 150 days ago. His last appearance was a runner-up in a handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot.
Forecast takes a drop in trip for this one and he will get his second run for his new yard. There has been a previous form from him.
ISTHEBAROPEN warrants respect after claiming runners-up finish at Uttoxeter on her latest.
Last season she won three times and kicked off this term with a win at Aintree back in June.
The slight question mark is that she is untested against the opposite sex this season.
COLLEGE OAK may be the best of the rest in his one as he did take a course and distance win in June.
His follow-up a month ago was poor. Consistency has been lacking from him but is worth a shot back at the C&D.

WHITE TURF picked up a victory on his latest run, which was just last week. He gets a 7lb penalty to deal with on Monday.
But he still looks like a big player in this contest on Monday. After not delivering over the hurdles, White Turf has been a different beast over the fences.
TRUMP’S BENEFIT claimed a victory on his runner-up effort and that was at course and distance as well.
So he warrants respect on Monday. The follow-up to the victory happened at Market Rasen when he launched his bid too soon and came up a little short.
But Trump’s Benefit stays at the same mark and should be a big player as well.
GETAMAN was a winner last time out and made a good impression over a 2m handicap chase. He went from the front and didn’t flinch.
That saw Getaman get off the mark in this sphere. He gets what appears to be a fair 5lb rise to deal with now.

AUTUMN FESTIVAL has picked up three wins in twelve efforts during 2022 and gets on the radar for racing tips here.
A month ago he nailed a win. That was by half a length over Reversion, who he faces once again on Monday.
There is a 2lb rise for the Autumn Festival to come but he is a player.
KING OF WAR is a former course and distance winner and is likely to be in the mix-up on Monday.
He has been in fine form for a while now and delivered a win at Brighton on his latest effort.
King Of War clearly warrants respect in this contest.
REVERSION is weighted to go well so can’t be written out of the frame in this handicap.
That was a poor effort by him at Lingfield 11 days ago with some first-time equipment not panning out.
Reversion needs a bounce back but could have a say.

RING OF GOLD makes a return after a long break, but he was in cracking form on the all-weather when last seen.
Ring Of Gold won two of his last three starts and was looking on the up. As long as the break is not an issue, he should feature.
From the latest win of Ring Of Gold too, he had the beating of one that has since gone on to win a couple of times.
BACK FROM DUBAI has won from marks higher than he will be at on Monday. He also has a good record at Southwell with four wins in five appearances.
On his penultimate effort BACK FROM DUBAI landed a victory at Doncaster. He was a third-place finisher there on his latest and boasts a 3lb claimer.
BIPLANE is very interesting in this contest as she looks to follow up on a win banked at Ayr a month ago.
She did well there in a race that didn’t suit her pace. Biplane is moved up 3lb for that winning export.
Biplane’s been in a good mood recently and can be competitive.

That was after a long break. Masqool takes a drop in trip for Monday’s run. It’s a very quick two-day turnaround but he could feature.
HARDY was a runner-up and showed some good form when a runner-up at Carlisle two weeks ago.
He has yet to break his maiden, but Hardy may be in with a decent shot on Monday if he can deliver any kind of follow-up effort.
HACHERT is the final selection for today’s horse racing tips and he is on a workable mark.
He did rattle the crossbar from this mark earlier in the summer. This is not a deep field that Hachert faces, so piques interest.
