It wasn’t a good weekend for Rangers fans as they saw their side lose out to rivals Celtic in the Scottish FA Cup semi-final. However, one Rangers fan had something to smile about after a massive bet landed in his lap. Rangers supporter Alan Thomson had been in a rush on the weekend and picked 15 random teams in just 10 seconds to get his bet down.

Alan said: “It took me 10 seconds to fill in the coupon. It was the first time I have done this bet.
“I didn’t study form, I just went for it and hoped for the best. All I did check was that the matches were all kicking off at 3pm so I wouldn’t be hanging around wondering if I had won.”
