Rochester, New York will be descended upon by the best golfers in the world from August 8th – 11th, and Tiger Woods, not too surprisingly is looking to be the man of the moment in 2013 USPGA Golf Betting. The antepost markets for the final Major of the year, has been pretty much dominated by that man Woods, given his stellar form this year. Woods has won the USPGA four times before in his illustrious career, but his last title at the Major came back in 2007. Still, with titles flowing his way on the PGA Tour during 2013, will he be able to put the icing on the cake and land another major? With two top ten finishes from the three previous 2013 Majors, he will have more than his fair share of backers.

Last season Woods managed a T11 at the PGA Championship, and he is still waiting to end his long Major-less streak since landing the US Open title back in 2008, which seems liked such a long time ago now. But he could be getting closer and carrying some good form through from the WGC Bridgestone International, he could take some stopping to keep off the top of the pile. 2013 US PGA Championship golf betting at online betting site Bet Victor has had Woods around the 4/1 mark as outright winner, and that has given him very short favouritism compared to the rest of the field.

2013 USPGA Championship Golf Betting Odds at Bet Victor
Tiger Woods 4/1, Phil Mickelson 12/1, Adam Scott 18/1, Justin Rose 20/1, Brandt Snedeker 25/1, Rory McIlroy 25/1, Lee Westwood 28/1, Hunter Mahan 33/1, Matt Kuchar 33/1, Dustin Johnson 33/1, Henrik Stenson 33/1, Luke Donald 33/1, Jason Day 40/1

McIlroy to make good of memories?
We know the usual suspects who should be up there, and still trading as one of the main chasing pack is the out of form Rory McIlroy. He was in stunning form, unbeatable form this time last year and after a fifth place at the WGC Bridgestone in 2012, he powered his way to his second Major title of his career by running riot at the US PGA Championship, where he won by a country mile, taking an eight stroke victory over David Lynn. A tremendous weekend saw McIlroy motor to the title at Kiawah Island Resort. But his form has been lacking so badly, and even he referred to his golf as being ‘brain dead’. The 24 year old missed the cut at the 2013 Open Championship after struggling through the second round and just can’t seem to pull everything together. But can he get it together as a long shot at 25/1 in 2013 US PGA Championship golf betting?

Here come the Europeans
The Europeans did well last year at the US PGA Championship, occupying seven of the top nine places in the field. Justin Rose, Ian Poulter, Jamie Donaldson and Graeme McDowell all went well, and with Rose in Major winning form this year, taking the US Open, he could be worth looking at for odds of around 20/1. Graeme McDowell has produced some great golf this year, and is a name looking like some great European value in particular. Question will still be asked of Lee Westwood at around 28/1 and his mentality in getting that first career Major under his belt. Has produced some good, consistent golf as well this year, but the Major blows he keeps facing just brings forth hesitation over backing him. The same can be said of Luke Donald, but there are a couple of Europeans who could ride well in Rochester and are worth considering for Top Ten betting. That will be Henrik Stenson and Ian Poulter. Stenson recorded two top ten finishes back to back at the PGA Championship in 2008 and 2008, but has missed the last two editions. However, after carding a second at The Open, and top twenty five finishes in the other two Majors this year, he is fantastic value. So too Poulter, who was many people’s dark horse for the Open where he fired in a T3. The Englishman took a T3 at the 2013 PGA Championship.

The rest of the Americans
On the American front, 2005 Champion Phil Mickelson, who had that glorious closing at The Open Championship this year should be considered. Has had seven top ten finished at the US PGA Championship in career besides the victory. Hasn’t been back inside the top ten since 2008, but with a T2 at the US Open and then the victory at The Open, he’s in good shape. There could be some value on 2011 Champion Keegan Bradley too, who came out of the blocks firing at the WGC Bridgestone International at Firestone as a build up. Bradley won the event in his first attempt in 2011, and came close to defending his title with a T3 last year on the back of a win at the Bridgestone. Just looking as if he could be on top of his game again here this time of year. Webb Simpson, Brandt Snedeker, Steve Stricker and Matt Kuchar are all worth considering as well for the 2013 USPGA Championship. Dark horse from the Americans could be Harris English, who has been going well since June. He picked up a win and two top fifteen finishes in his last five starts prior to the Bridgestone, and with a strong star at Firestone too, could be in the top ten or top twenty mix.

The market for 2013 USPGA Championship golf betting really runs deep, with the likes of Jason Day, Adam Scott, Charl Schwartzel, Bubba Watson, Ernie Els, Jason Dufner and more not even getting a mention. Consider covering yourself with Top Ten betting on this one, and also look for extra places on your each way betting where you can find it.
