Mr Mega Betting markets and odds quality 9/10

The first part of this Mr Mega bookmaker review is a dive straight into the heart of their sportsbook. The main link to access their sports section is right in the very top menu. A click on there and you will be presented with a very nicely laid-out sportsbook.

On that main sports betting screen at the bookmaker, there are different sections for both live and upcoming fixtures across a variety of sports. There is pretty good coverage in there meaning that it aids some quick navigation to get to markets.

An example is that in the box for the current live betting options, things can quickly and easily be filtered by sport at the click of a button.

The variety of live sports that were on offer at the time of this review includes football, basketball, American Football, Baseball, Cricket, Table Tennis and Volleyball. There was also live Esports betting to be found.

The same quick navigation asset of being able to quickly move between different sports was also available for the upcoming fixtures. There are actually a couple of different ways to look at fixtures that are coming up.

There is a Highlights section on that main page of the Mr Mega sportsbook, which gives you for example, a batch of what would be considered higher profile matches from the likes of the Premier League or Serie A.

Then there is a section beneath that for Upcoming. An extra touch when it comes to filtering results is that you can set a time frame for the events that you want to see, such as only matches in the Next 4 hours or the Next 24 hours.

We will state at this point early in the Mr Mega review, that navigation and the ability to filter the view within the sportsbook is excellent. As a nod to that, if you are looking at the Highlights section for football then you see the Match Outright, Over/Under and Both Teams To Score markets listed in the one coupon.

Then via a drop-down menu, you can change what bet types are seen right there on that page. So if you wanted to see all the Double Chance prices for the listed matches in the section, that’s very straightforward too. It’s a handy tool particularly for potentially building football multi bets. Alongside each match listing, the number of markets available for that game is indicated.

Continuing with the navigation aspect of things on the Mr Mega site, the main A-Z menu sits over on the left-hand side. Clearly indicated on that menu are the number of different markets within. That menu can be filtered by time as well. So if you only wanted to see what markets are available for sports in the next 24 hours, you move the slider to where you want it.

On that main menu, you can define some of your favourite markets. So you could, for example, tag Premier League Football, Premiership Rugby and the Champions League in your list of favourites. Your favourites will then sit at the top of the A-Z menu for quick reference.

Landing on the main Mr Mega sportsbook section, there is a very good impression made by the bookie. The site works on a light coloured theme, making it easy on the eye and things are laid out nicely for legibility.

All in all the first impression of the Bet Target sportsbook was excellent. Markets are clear and easy to read and we positively rate how customisable the entire experience of the main sportsbook page is. First impressions count for a lot and Mr Mega is very pleasing right out of the gate.

Mr Mega Odds Comparison/Betting Margins 9/10

For the next part of this review, we are looking at some football matches, so that we can get a little overview of price quotes for odds comparison.

We are looking at football betting odds again because it is one of the biggest areas of the bookmaker’s website and what a lot of punters will be interested in.

The point of an odds comparison is to inform the punter as to what kind of bookmaker margins that there are in play in a sportsbook.

We picked out a couple of matches from a round of Premier League action to do that.

The first one featured a strong home favourite and the bookmaker margin for the 3-way outright market was 4.76%.

The next match featured two evenly matched teams and again we found a very similar bookmaker margin, this time of 4.58%.

Looking at those two examples, those were pretty fair bookmaker margins overall in comparison to other major bookmakers that we have examined. So in terms of odds comparison, then Mr Mega rates well.

Mr Mega In Play Betting 8/10

We take a look at the in-play betting opportunities next at Mr Mega and just landing on the homepage shows a tremendous amount of options.

There is a dedicated space on the home page that lists some of the current action that you could jump into.

First landing on the page it shows the listing of live football matches that are in play. Given the day and the time of day that you visit, that list could be long.

For each of the events the displayed markets are the 1×2 outright, Over/Under and Next Goal. So all of that can be seen in the coupon.

Also listed alongside each event is how many extra markets there are available for a game. It was common enough to see well over 100 bet options for individual football matches and that number rose when it came to live betting on higher-profile fixtures.

The changes in odds for live betting are indicated by little arrows so it’s easy to see what is happening and when. Clicking through to an individual football match to get a view, there were some basic stats offered like cards, corners and goals.

The management of bets within an individual match is fantastic because again, the view can be filtered by bet type through the use of menus. If you see a padlock on a market then that indicates that the market has been closed (such as the game being at half time then First Half bets will be closed), or it’s a temporary pause when a major event like a goal has happened.

For higher profile matches the stats in the game interface get a little more detailed to help you follow the game. Views there can be switched from the score, to match stats, head to head, line ups, incidents and more.

There is a lot more to the overall Mr Mega in-play betting experience of course than just the football. At the time of writing this review, we saw Basketball, Ice Hockey, Darts, Volleyball and Esports live sports. Again, depending on when you look, it will be possible to see more live sports because they appear.

So there are a lot of excellent in-play betting opportunities that can be found on the site. That’s a big feature which rates well with us. Because of the excellent layout and navigation on the site, there is a lot that can be done in terms of live betting right on the main home page.

We do want to make mention of the live in-play betting opportunities that exist on the site for Esports. This is an increasingly popular genre of sports betting and Mr Mega knocked it out of the park in this one in terms of the volume of matches that they presented. There were some live Dota 2 fixtures in play when we looked at their sportsbook for this review.

The matches provided a couple of in-play options for both types of games, which were basic map and handicap options.

To sum up the live betting opportunities at Mr Mega, in our experience they look very good, particularly the football. It all seemed to operate efficiently and it was relatively straightforward to find markets, even specials for live football games in-play.

Extras & Features of Mr Mega 7/10

The next part of the Mr Mega review that we are taking a look at is the extra features that they have on their site. For this, these are the extra touches that punters could potentially use to enhance their overall experience with the operator.

Combo Bet wins

The first of the extra features is the Combo Bet Wins promotion that they offer. This is where customers can enjoy up to 77% extra on successful combo bets. This applies to 4-fold or great Combo bets.

To get the Mr Mega Combo Bet bonus choose at least 4 pre-match selections and place your boost. If your bet is successful then they will add a win bonus on top of your regular winnings.

This operates on a sliding scale from a 4% boost on successful 4-folds all the way up to the maximum 77% win bonus on 15-folds.

Qualification selections have to be taken at least 1/2 odds to qualify for the bonus. The maximum ‘Extra Winnings’ shall be £11,000.

Cash Out

Cash out options for bets are available in the Mr Mega sportsbook. This feature means that you take a little more control over your wagers. By selecting a cash out option, you can settle a bet early instead of having to wait until the final whistle of a football match for example.

The cash out feature at Mr Mega applies to single and combo bets. Just place a cash bet with them and watch your bet as the play unfolds. Note that the Mr Mega cash out is only available on selected events, matches and markets.

Some in-play markets are covered by the Cash Out feature as well on the likes of Soccer, Tennis, Basketball, Cricket and Volleyball. If your active bet is available for cash out, you can just click the “Cash Out” button to settle the bet in full or partially.

Mr Mega payment options - deposit and withdrawal methods 7/10

The next thing that comes under scrutiny in this UK bookmaker review is the payment methods that can be used to fund a Mr Mega account.

Before we get into all that, it is worth reminding people at this point that to get the Mr Mega Sign Up offer, the initial accounting funding cannot be done through Neteller, PayPal, Skrill or Skrill 1-Tap.

To make deposits to your Mr Mega account click on the “Cashier” button in your account and select “Deposit”. There will be different methods in there by which you can fund your account, so you select which one. Instructions will follow on the screen about completing the progress.

How to make a withdrawal at Mr Mega

There is not a dedicated mobile sports betting app for either iOS or for Android from Mr Mega at the time of writing. So everything when it comes to betting on a mobile platform is done through their mobile website.

Fortunately, their website design has fully considered this and we didn’t feel that anything was lost in terms of ease of operation when it came to using the mobile website.

It still looks good and all features and promotions are still accessible. The mobile version still gives all of that great Mr Mega customisation of what you see on the site, meaning that you can quickly access your popular betting markets.

Registration for a Mr Mega account can be done through the mobile website as well as full account management. So while there is no dedicated Mr Mega app for sports betting, the design of the website has been developed as mobile-first to make things easily accessible for customers.

Banking security was the first thing that we examined for the security part of this bookmaker review. If there is a padlock symbol in the bottom corner of your browser when you are doing a transaction then it means that their full encryption is active.

The data is protected by 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption as it goes to a firewall-protected secure server. They are also a bookmaker that is committed to the “CARE” program which is Customers Are Really Everything.

There is some reasonable help to be received through the FAQ section on their website.

Landing there will take you through the common questions about many different topics from technical issues, to payment and withdrawal methods.
