The first thing that we are going to look at for the MrPlay UK review, is an overview of the sportsbook and odds that can be found there.

The sportsbook is at the heart of everything and the navigation of the MrPlay sportsbook is excellent, with clear, easy-to-use menus.

Landing on the MrPlay website brings up the day’s events, which offers a blend of both the upcoming betting action and events that are currently in play.

The sports on the main page can be filtered by different sports, so if you only want to see the main football events, you can do that.

There is a menu on the left-hand side of the screen. A click there on any of the sports within is going to change the view in the main area, to just the betting opportunities for the given spot.

MrPlay Odds Comparison

A look at the odds within a sportsbook is an important aspect of a bookmaker review as it allows a little insight into value.

We took a look at a couple of Premier League fixtures and there was an excellent 3.36% bookie margin that we found.

All of the Premier League fixtures that we looked at for a bit of a dive into the MrPlay football betting odds, returned a similar kind of fixture in the match outright.

So that’s a huge, huge plus. They stand up very well in odds comparisons.

In Play Betting at MrPlay 8/10

There is a main link to access all of the in-play betting opportunities available at MrPlay, which spans many different sports.

At the time of this MrPlay UK review, we saw listings for Football, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Table Tennis, Esports and American Football.

However, a click on the In-Play Schedule presented even more sports like cricket and tennis which had matches coming up in the near future.

For In-play football betting at MrPlay, we dived a match to see what kind of options were available during the match.

The first thing is that market changes are easy to spot, as little arrows indicate lengthening or shortening odds on a given market.

For in-play football betting there was everything that we would expect to see, from the Match Winner to the 1st Goal, Double Chance, Both Teams To Score and Total Goals. Asian Handicap in-play was available as well at handicap spreads which was a nice touch.

As with everything at MrPlay the in-play section is well laid out and very easy to read. There are menu filters to help with narrowing the view of markets when it comes to finding a selection quickly.

For in-play football betting, some matches do have the Fast Markets available, which are markets that only exist for a short period. It may, for example, be a 5-minute window in which punters select an event to happen, like a goal or a throw-in.

There are Fast Markets available on tennis matches as well, such as a player to win the next game, to win the next point, the exact score of a service game and for a game to go to deuce.

Switching over to another strong example of in-play sports betting at MrPlay, we looked at an NFL match that was in progress.

There were 50+ live betting options available for the fixture which was three-quarters of the way through the fixture.

Options like Team Total Points, Overtime, Team Total Points Third Quarter, Spread 2nd Half and Winning Margins filled an impressive page of options.

In summary, there was a lot to like about the MrPlay in-play sports betting experience.

There was in particular, very strong coverage on football, North American sports and Esports.

Interactivity through a graphical interface showing the flow of the game, with some integrated statistics would have enhanced the experience just a little bit further.

But in terms of odds and bet variety then MrPlay delivered a very good platform.

Extras & Features of MrPlay 8/10

For the next part of this MrPlay sportsbook review, we examine some of the extra features that may enhance the overall experience that a customer could have with the bookmaker.

Extra features are things like tools that offer something different, like add-ons to the sportsbook such as cash out and bet builder options.

Play Bot

Sitting in the bet split at MrPlay is the Play Bot which presents automatically generated betting tips.

Both in-play and pre-match selections are created. An example of this is an Over 2.5 goals option on a Premier League fixture that had played 30 minutes and the away team was 1-0 up.

The selections, which are tips, do have ratings with them. The Play Bot doesn’t guarantee any profit of course.

It’s merely best recommendations and options and what the user sees in the Play Bot can be filtered by options such as Goal Frenzy, Dropping Odds, Goalscorer, PlayBoost, Bookings.

It’s possible to filter the tips ever further by situations such as when an underdog is leading a match, or Possession or Dangerous Events.

MrPlay Battle

There are leaderboard contests that can be joined at MrPlay which are competition tournaments.

To enter a Battle you’ll need to do a MrPlay login and then place real-money bets on the sports market.

£1 of each of your bets will count towards your score for the leaderboard. You can just place your bets as normal, but whatever stake you put on a wager, only £1 of your bet will be used to calculate the leaderboard score.

Different tournaments like their Euro Elite and Premier League Battles have different rules and prizes.

Check the full terms before playing and again, note that the MrPlay Battles do require paid stake to play as it is based on your real money betting.

Player props

There are Player Props available at MrPlay which allows a punter to examine the performance of a specific player with a football match.

This feature of MrPlay is available on all of the Premier League matches from England, while markets are available for top matches in the Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, and German Bundesliga.

Player Props are backing a player to produce a certain action within a match. So instead of relying on a team, you are relying on a player.

That for example could be a goalkeeper to save a penalty, or a specific player To Score a Header, or a specific player to score from Outside the Box, or even a Shot at Goal that hits the Goal Post.

To get to the player props, find the football match that you want and go to the ‘Players’ section. The props options for football betting will be in there.

Cash Out

A full suite of cash out options are available in sports betting at MrPlay. The option can be found on both Single and Acca bets.

MrPlay does offer both the Full Cash Out and Partial Cash Out. To find the cash-out option, click on the “My Bets” section and any active bets that are available for cash out will be listed there.

Play Boosts on Acca

There is a PlayBOOST feature at MrPlay as well which applies to accumulators. Create an aacca with at least four selections and at minimum odds of 1/5 (1.5).

Then based on a sliding scale, if the acca wins MrPlay will credit a percentage win bonus. The more legs that are in the winning acca, the bigger the bonus.

For example, there is a 4% boost on successful 4-folds up to the maximum 77% boost on a 15-fold.

MrPlay payment options - deposit and withdrawal methods 7/10

The next thing in the MrPlay bookmaker review that we are going to examine is the payment methods.

A look on their site presents a lot of different methods by which to fund an account with them.

But not all options apply to all currency options.

The main UK options that are listed on the side include Visa and Mastercard deposits, Paysafecard, Skrill, Ukash, Neteller and bank transfers.

The average deposit time was marked as Instant with a few exceptions that may take longer such as Fast Bank Transfer.

Withdrawal times will vary from method to method, ranging from three days, and up to eight working days for some.

How to deposit at MrPlay

Do a MrPlay login and then visit the Account link on the page. Click on the “Cashier” option and there will be an option to “Deposit”.

Click on the preferred method of funding and follow the instructions. Again, deposit time will vary by method. MrPlay doesn’t charge any fees on their end for transactions.

It is worth taking any time necessary after registration with the bookmaker to ensure that the account is verified ahead of the first withdrawal request.

The account and payment method need to be verified which may include sending documentation to prove address and ID to MrPlay. That will only need to be done once.

Once you have made a withdrawal request at MrPlay, if it is still within the “Awaiting Process” box then it will be possible to cancel the request.

If the status has moved to “Processing” it is too late to cancel. That will be 48 hours after the date of request.

User-friendliness of MrPlay website - 9/10

The user-friendliness of the MrPlay website is excellent and we found it easy to get around and find the markets that we were looking for in this review.

There are a lot of sub-menus which help to drive the format as well and with a light background on the site, everything feels light and the text is legible and markets are spaced out well for clarity.

Different areas of the MrPlay operations are easy to access from main icons across the top of the page

The Bet Slip is clear and easy to read as well. It just sits over on the right-hand side of the screen. The options to build combo bets are well-presented once your selections have been added.

It’s a straightforward simple and clear design that ranks well for user-friendliness.

MrPlay Mobile App 7/10

There is no dedicated sports betting app for either iOS or Android available from MrPlay as things stand.

But things do look very good and operate well through their mobile website. So the accessibility for betting on the go is still there.

Going through their mobile website on a phone or tablet doesn’t diminish the experience, because you get access to all of their features and bonuses that are there.

The design fits perfectly on mobile platforms, is intuitive and still offered the excellent navigation touches that can be found on the main website.

Everything that can be done on the website, from account registration, bet management, bonuses and in-play betting is all there in the mobile version of MrPlay.

MrPlay Customer Service & Support, Security & Reliability

The theme for the MrPlay Customer Service is “CARE” which stands for Customers Are Really Everything.

There is the main help section accessible through a link from the bottom of the main website. That is simply a portal to some frequently asked questions.

It is a good place to start with any queries because it is quite in-depth and easy to get around. It covers a lot of different aspects from playing bonuses to deposits and withdrawals and technical issues.

There is a MrPlay chat that can be accessed for support. Stated in their help section is that the support team is available 7 days a week from 8 am to 1 am CET. They encourage a look through the Help section first.

Moving on to the conclusion of the MrPlay sportsbook review we sum everything up and give them a rating.

The first thing that we really have to focus on is how low the bookmaker margins were for some of the big football matches from the Premier League. That was a big plus because MrPlay looks competitive when it comes to odds-comparison.

The other big aspect that we liked about their services was the quality of their sportsbook overall, which cast a wide net over so many sports and bet types. The number of bet types on certain matches was exemplary really.

Along with the big football markets, the Esports betting section at MrPlay deserves a big mention because it offers some of the most extensive markets that we have seen for that particular genre

Throw on top how easy it is to get around the site, how comfortable the site is to read and then the extra features, overall there is a very strong product at Mrplayfor sports betting.

A couple of things like a dedicated app, more interaction for in-play action and wider internal horse racing options would have perhaps boosted things further.

The little extra touches like the Play Bot and the Battles add a little extra depth to the overall experience. So all in all, MrPlay ranks very highly with us.
