Accrington Stanley laid down a marker in League Two last Saturday when they beat former league leaders, Luton Town, at Kenilworth Road, and in turn made a statement to the rest of the league as they now sit top of the fourth tier.

Forest Green Rovers suffered their first defeat in five matches last weekend when they lost 2-1 at home to promotion candidates, Notts County, and the west country outfit will be facing another team that are in strong contention for an automatic promotion spot when they take on Accrington Stanley here.
It’s been a tough, hard slog for Forest Green who are playing in the Football League for the very first time in their history this season, but recent wins over Coventry City, Stevenage and Crawley Town have helped alleviate any immediate concerns of relegation as they now have a comfortable seven point cushion above second from bottom Barnet.
However, these recent wins were all registered at their New Lawn ground, while results away from home have been pretty poor all season with an away record of 2-5-10 15/31, and they come into this clash without an away win from their last nine outings.
