Thursday’s visitors, Stjarnan, moved up into 6th place on the Pepsideild ladder thanks to recording a 4-1 thrashing over HK at home which became Stjarnan’s third win from their four matches to date in this season’s Pepsideild campaign.
It’s still early days of course but Stjarnan will be pleased with their positive start which includes earlier wins picked up against Fylkir 2-1 at home and a 4-1 romp on the road at Fjolnir, so the momentum would appear to be in Stjarnan’s favour ahead of this midweek clash.
Results away from home have been solid for some time too as Stjarnan have lost just one of their last 10 matches on their travels which was a 4-2 loss at KA, but the recent back-to-back wins on the road should set the visitors up nicely here.
