ALDERSHOT TOWN v SOLIHULL MOORS

Football – England – National League Betting Tips

Aldershot Town were thumped 4-0 at home by current National League leaders Forest Green Rovers during the week but they do have another chance of redeeming themselves almost straight away on Saturday afternoon when they play host to Solihull Moors at the Recreation Ground.

Prior to this recent defeat, Aldershot had put together an eight-match unbeaten run to get their new season off to a good start in the non-league top flight and this had lifted The Shots up into 7th place on the league ladder – and a win today could lift them up into the play-off positions.

Despite the defeat, Aldershot still possess a strong home record with stats of  5-1-1 11/5 which includes five clean sheets on home turf already in this new campaign, and they’ll be looking to take advantage of Solihull’s leaky defence here today.

Onto the visitors Solihull Moors then, and the midlands club have made a fairly positive start to their new campaign in the previously unchartered territory of the National League as they sit in a mid-table position ahead of Saturday afternoon’s trip down to Hampshire.

The visitors have put together a five-match unbeaten run ahead of this Saturday’s round of fixtures which includes wins over Maidstone United and Southport who are both situated in the bottom half of the division, but they’ll be tested here this afternoon I daresay.

Solihull’s away record stands at  2-2-3  7/10 but they’ve found scoring goals a bit of a problem away from home so far this term as they’ve failed to score on five occasions already from their seven matches played.
