Atlas Preview – Can Atlas bounce back at home?
Atlas were handed a heavy 3-1 defeat away at Tijuana in their opening match of the new Mexico Liga MX Apertura phase as the domestic top flight season starts a new term following the earlier enforced finish to the previous campaign due to the lockdown.
This opening defeat became Atlas’s sixth league defeat in seven matches and wasn’t the kind of start they were looking for, but they return to their Estadio Jalisco for this Monday evening clash against UNAM Pumas where the hosts will be looking to bounce back with a win.

However, results away from home have been generally pretty ordinary where Pumas are concerned as the visitors have won just one of their last 13 matches but four of Pumas’s last five away matches have resulted in over 2.5 goals.
