However, despite their current lofty position of 3rd place on the Portuguese top flight ladder, Sporting are without an away win from their last four outings which include defeats at Sporting Braga and Famalicao in 1-0 and 3-1 losses, along with draws at Rio Ave and Vitoria Guimaraes, so they’re by no means guaranteed all three points here either.
