League A Group 2 resumes hostilities on Thursday night when Belgium play host to rock bottom nation, Iceland, as the betting tips continue at the Stade Roi Baudouin in Brussels.
Belgium not only hold the upper hand in Group 2 as they have a game in hand over Switzerland, but also Thursday night’s opponents, Iceland, as they inflicted a heavy 3-0 win recently in Reyjavik to start their Nations League campaign in positive fashion.

Iceland are sadly now just a shadow of their former selves as their descent from being serious dark horses and challengers to the top nations in Europe has now spiralled almost out of control in recent times.
The visitors are without an international win from their last 11 matches in all competitions, and they’re now almost unrecognisable from the team that qualified for the Euro 2016 semi-finals as the departure of former national coach Heimir Hallgrimsson appears to have taken its toll.
Iceland’s Nations League campaign has also been a disaster as they were handed a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Switzerland in their opening group match, only to suffer subsequent back-to-back defeats to Belgium (at home) and Switzerland (away).
The visitors now face the distinct possibility of ending their Nations League campaign without a point to their name, and my betting tips suggest that Belgium won’t let the foot off their gas here with Switzerland still posing a serious threat.
