Former Liverpool U23 manager Neil Critchley is the new man in charge at Bloomfield Road. The 41-year-old made a great impression at Anfield this season, taking over first-team duties from Jurgen Klopp on more than one occasion.

Micky Mellon’s Tranmere Rovers did a fine job to reach League One last term, winning the EFL League Two play-offs. However, the Merseysiders have found life tough going in the second tier so far, picking up just seven wins from 33 League One matches.
However, Rovers head to Bloomfield Road having won their last two league fixtures. Six points from nine is an excellent return, but the Whites still have an awful lot of work to do in the fight for survival.
