High-flying Bromley take on mid-table Barrow at the Courage Stadium on Saturday afternoon as the hosts bounced back with a midweek win away at Welling United which followed a heavy 4-0 defeat at the hands of Tranmere Rovers in the previous match.

Bromley’s 2-1 win at Welling United has helped Bromley into the early play-off reckoning as they sit  in fifth spot with a strong home record of  5-1-1  15/6 and they’ve won their last four matches on the trot on home turf with wins over Gateshead, Macclesfield Town, Kidderminster and Chester.

I therefore cannot understand why Bromley are priced so long for this clash as they have shown enough so far to convince me of their pedigree on home turf.

Visitors Barrow also took all three points during the week with a 3-2 home win over Chester but in recent weeks, Barrow have produced some mixed displays with a win over Macclesfield Town away from home, but have also suffered defeats to Aldershot Town and Altrincham along with a draw against Kidderminster.

Away from home though, the story has been far worse with just one win from their first seven on their travels which was the result at Macclesfield Town. However, an overall record of  1-1-5  6/16 tells its own story and this record includes losses at Grimsby Town, Forest Green, Cheltenham, Halifax and Altrincham.

To sum up, Bromley should win this match with ease but why take the chances of perhaps a draw spoiling our bet? I’ll therefore climb on the draw no bet option which is attractively priced on the hosts who could take this perhaps 2-1.
