Busan IPark Preview – Royals’ shock point last week may be a false dawn

Few predicted that Busan would get anything from their visit to early pace-setters Ulsan last week but they almost returned home with maximum points after Lee Jeong-hyeop’s powerful left-foot strike gave them a surprise lead.
Only a controversial penalty deprived the Royals of a first win of the season and that was a much-improved performance from the newly-promoted side, who had lost their first two matches.
Manager Cho Duk-jae may finally beginning to believe that his squad are getting to grips with life in the top flight and he’ll be reluctant to make too many changes for the visit of Suwon.
Rookie goalkeeper Kim Jung-ho has done enough to keep his place but the manager has a dilemma to solve in midfield. While the inclusion of both Park Jong-woo and Lee Gyu-seong offers stability it takes away a forward threat. Kim Jin-kyu is likely to earn a recall, therefore, and Cho Duk-jae may also decide to give another chance to attacking left-back Yun Suk-young. Romulo continues to be their key man in the search for goals.

Suwon Preview – Bluewings look ready to move up the table

Suwon had been beaten by Ulsan in their previous match before grabbing a narrow victory against Incheon United last week but they look to have already turned the tide after a slow start.
Big things are expected of last year’s FA Cup winners in the league this year.
Lee Lim-saeng has come under criticism from a section of fans this season for playing players in unfamiliar positions. But he is likely to persist with full-back Lee Jong-sung as part of a back three alongside Min Sang-gi and Canadian international Doneil Henry.
Hong Chul is a likely absentee again so Kim Min-woo will probably deputise for the Korean international on the left-wing for a second week running.
Australian Terry Antonis is available for selection after serving a two-match ban for his red card against Jeonbuk and will almost certainly return to the starting 11 with last week’s match-winner Yeom Ki-hun the one most likely to miss out.
The visitors’ best opportunities could come with high balls into the box as Busan have looked weak on crosses so far.

Trends – Busan IPark vs Suwon Bluewings Betting Tips

    • Suwon have won 41 of the 71 previous meetings between these teams – 21 games have ended in draws

Busan have had a tough start to life back in the top flight but last week’s draw will have given them plenty of confidence. Suwon are also improving fast, however, and they will regard this fixture as eminently winnable. A draw at a general 11/5 is a distinct possibility but the Bluewings may just edge a close encounter and are 16/5 to win by one goal with Paddy Power.
