Current Superliga holders FC Copenhagen are striving for consistency after alternating between defeat and a win through the first four rounds of the new season. Randers – Undefeated start faces sternest test so far?

Sixth last season. Randers have set out on a similar trajectory in 2022-23, and through the opening four rounds occupy the same position in which they finished last time round. Alongside the current top two in the table, Silkeborg and Nordsjaelland, they are one of three teams to still retain their unbeaten tag – recording a succession of draws before finally getting their first win on the board last time out.

This is now the second season running in which the East Jutland club has navigated the opening four gameweeks without incurring any losses. They would bank clean sheets the last twice: a 0-0 scoreline away to Aalborg and 1-0 home win over Horsens. However, arguably, their most impressive performance thus far came on Matchday 1, when holding last season’s runners-up FC Midtjylland 1-1 on the road.

FC Copenhagen Vs Randers Betting Advice

In recent years Randers have managed to hold their own in this fixture. They head into Friday night’s clash as underdogs, as everyone in Denmark tends to be when up against the country’s most successful club, but with a reputation for springing a surprise. Across the eight previous Superliga matches between these teams, there were an equal number of wins (four apiece) with FCK marginally ahead on goals scored (12 to 8).
