It’s a quick trip over to South America next as we return to the Brazilian Serie A with a clash between mid-table Corinthians and second from bottom club Sport Recife as the betting tips continue on Monday night.
Corinthians currently occupy one of the Copa Sudamericana positions in the domestic top flight but current form has seen the hosts struggle to gain additional points at this stage of the season as they’ve won just once in their last eight matches overall.

As mentioned earlier, Sport Recife sit second from bottom in the Brazilian Serie A having registered just one win from their last 14 matches overall, which, incidentally, was also a 1-0 home win over hapless Parana.
Aside from that, it’s been a torrid season for Eduardo Baptista’s side as they’ve been on the end of 10 defeats within this poor 14-match sequence, while their away record stands at a disappointing 2-1-9 8/24.
Within this poor record on their travels, Sport Recife have lost their last seven matches on the trot, which also includes the visitors failing to score in 5 of these last 7 whilst conceding in each of these last 7.
