Crystal Palace have produced mixed displays and results in recent weeks as the hosts have registered wins against Wolves in the Premier League, winning 2-0 at Molineux along with a 3rd round FA Cup win over Grimsby Town to make it into this 4th round FA Cup tie with London rivals, Tottenham.
The Eagles have registered four wins from their last eight matches overall with additional earlier wins against Leicester City at home and a shock 3-2 win away at Manchester City, but defeats to Chelsea, Watford and Liverpool have held Roy Hodgson’s side back in recent times.
The encouraging thing for Crystal Palace ahead of this cup-tie is that they’ve given the top teams in the Premier League a decent run for their money, beating Manchester City, losing to Chelsea by just the odd goal and scoring 3 away at Anfield against Liverpool.
Midfielder Milivojevic (6 goals) along with forwards Townsend (4 goals) and Zaha (3 goals) are all expected to feature in Hodgson’s line-up on Sunday afternoon although first choice goalkeeper Hennessey has been ruled out so Hodgson may give a first start to new signing Perri between the sticks here.

It’s also been a mixed recent few weeks for visitors Tottenham as well as Mauricio Pochettino’s side have trounced League Two outfit Tranmere Rovers 7-0 in the 3rd round of the FA Cup but also tasted defeat in the League Cup to Chelsea losing on penalties, along with a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester United in the Premier League.
Prior to their loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Tottenham had strung together five away wins on the trot with victories at Arsenal, Everton, Cardiff City, Tranmere Rovers and Fulham. During this impressive away run, Tottenham plundered an amazing total of 19 goals, but both Harry Kane and Son were present for all of these with the exception of the Fulham match.
Kane is now out injured while Son is on international duty with South Korea and won’t be back in time for this match.
