Dijon Preview – Can Dijon prove to be stubborn hosts again?
Last season, Dijon finished in 16th place on the Ligue 1 ladder when the French top flight campaign was cut short but the catalyst behind them avoiding relegation was undoubtedly their stubborn resistance on home turf at their Stade Gaston-Gérard as they suffered just two defeats all season.

Angers Preview – Can Angers pick up where they left off?
Following a miserable four-match losing streak in Ligue 1, Angers finished their French top flight campaign last term in positive fashion as they won their final three league matches on the trot with victories over Montpellier, Brest and Nantes respectively.
Angers had previously suffered four defeats on the trot as they’d slumped to losses against Reims, Monaco, Lille and Nimes, but the visitors managed to bounce back and ended up in a creditable mid-table position of 11th in Ligue 1 when the lockdown was enforced.
However, Angers’s mid-table finish was largely due to their solid record on home turf at their Stade Raymond-Kopa where they lost on just four occasions out of the 15 matches played, but the same can’t be said for results away from home; an away record of 3-3-7 8/20 tells its own story and Angers ended up possessing the worst goalscoring record away from home in Ligue 1, failing to score in seven of their 13 away matches.
