The visitors will look to heap more misery upon hosts, England, when they make their way to the nation’s capital level on points with England and all to play for in this final showdown at Wembley Stadium.
Croatia have lost just twice in their last 13 matches overall in all competitions, and have been unconvincing away from home in recent times as they’ve suffered defeats to France in the World Cup final 4-2 and a heavy 6-0 loss away at Spain in the UEFA Nations League.
They’re level on 4 points with England thanks to a 0-0 draw at home with today’s opponents as well as registering what could be a vital 3-2 home win against Spain, and having dumped England out of the recent World Cup semi-final, they’ll fancy their chances of a repeat act again this afternoon.
This match is too close to call and very difficult to see a clear winner here, but my betting tips fancy both teams to score here as they seek qualification and avoid relegation.
