Western Conference leaders, FC Dallas, will return back to their Toyota Stadium in Texas for Saturday night’s encounter with bottom half Eastern Conference outfit, Chicago Fire, as the hosts look to maintain their position at the top of the Conference.

Chicago Fire’s promising looking five-match unbeaten run has been undone in recent weeks as they’ve suffered back-to-back defeats to Vancouver Whitecaps and Philadelphia Union which has left them in the bottom half of the Eastern Conference in eighth place.
It’s been a frustrating campaign so far for the Fire and for manager Paunovic as his side’s inconsistent streak has been evident on numerous occasions throughout this season, and this is exemplified in their away record which stands at 2-3-4 13/18.
Chicago Fire bring a four-match run without a win on their travels following the aforementioned defeats at Philadelphia Union and Vancouver Whitecaps, and they’ve also failed to keep a single clean sheet on the road too to date.
This should therefore be a straightforward home win for FC Dallas.
