National League Tips

FYLDE v GUISELEY

Football – England – National League Betting Tips

Fylde were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw on Tuesday night by National League strugglers, Chester, at Fylde’s Mill Farm ground, but they’ll hold home advantage once again on Saturday afternoon when they entertain second from bottom club, Guiseley.

Although they were unable to grab all three points, The Coasters nevertheless extended their unbeaten run in the non-league top flight to four matches which also includes wins over Maidenhead United, Tranmere Rovers and Bromley, along with possessing a pretty solid home record as well.

A home record of  4-6-2  20/16 includes an unbeaten stretch of six matches on home turf which consists of wins over Wrexham and Torquay United as well as the aforementioned Tranmere. The host’s leading goalscorer, Danny Rowe (14 goals) notched against Chester, and he’s supported by Muldoon (7 goals).

Guiseley sit second from bottom in the National League and although they’ve been beaten on just four occasions at home so far this season, their results away from home are one of the main reasons why they’re fighting against relegation in the bottom four of the league.

Guiseley have recorded just one league win from their last nine matches overall, and an away record of  2-3-9  12/35 includes four defeats from their last five which were losses at Dagenham & Redbridge, Ebbsfleet United, Tranmere Rovers and Eastleigh.

Only a 2-0 win at Chester has spared Guiseley a five-match losing streak, but having kept just two clean sheets on their travels all season so far, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rowe etc take full advantage on Saturday.
