Gateshead take on Braintree Town as the betting tips continue in the National League on Saturday afternoon at the Gateshead International Stadium with the hosts looking to post back-to-back wins.
Gateshead came away from Ebbsfleet United with a 1-0 win away from home last Saturday to grab all three points and they’ll return to home turf for Saturday’s clash with Braintree looking to bounce back from their recent defeat to high-flying Harrogate Town.

Onto Braintree Town and they suffered a fifth defeat in six matches last Saturday when they went down to a 1-0 loss at home to Wrexham which has condemned the Essex outfit to bottom of the National League ahead of this weekend’s action.
It’s been a tough start to this new non-league top flight season for The Iron who have lost 7 of their 10 league matches played to date, and the visitors have picked up just 3 points from the possible 30 on offer so far thanks to draws with Barnet, Hartlepool and Boreham Wood.
The points they’ve picked up have been impressive results against quality teams on their own, but throw in the seven losses and an away record of 0-2-3 2/5 and you can see why they’re struggling at the foot of the table.
It’s now 10 away matches without a win for Braintree Town who have also failed to hit the back of the net in 6 of these as well as failing to keep a single clean sheet – my betting tips suggest there’s only one winner in this one…
