Jamaica Preview – Can Jamaica make a good start?
Jamaica head into this Gold Cup tournament in indifferent form as they’ve managed to record just two wins from their last seven matches in all competitions, which came in the form of victories over Bermuda and Saudi Arabia, but defeats to Saudi Arabia, USA and Japan U23 should re-focus the side.
Performances in previous Gold Cups though should give Jamaica belief that they can get off to a winning start here as they’ve lost just two of their last 11 matches in this competition (both against USA) but also includes notable wins against Mexico and Honduras.
