Latvia Prediction – Can Latvia avoid another defeat?
It’s been a thoroughly miserable Euro 2020 campaign so far for Thursday night’s hosts, Latvia, as the hosts have suffered 6 defeats on the trot and sit rock-bottom of Group G with an ominous looking visit from Poland up next this evening.
To make matters worse, Latvia have managed to score just once in their first 6 matches of this group phase but have conceded a total of 21 goals to date with only the dreadful San Marino (28) conceding more goals than them so far.

Poland Prediction – Can Poland retain top spot?
After having made a blistering start to their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign, Group G leaders, Poland, are now nervously looking over their shoulder at the chasing nations such as Slovenia and Austria prior to Matchday 7 on Thursday night.
The Poles set a furious pace at the start of the campaign by racking up 4 wins on the trot with victories gained over Austria, Latvia, North Macedonia and Israel, the latter being a 4-0 win at home, but the visitors have since slipped up.
An unexpected 2-0 defeat away at Slovenia was followed by a 0-0 draw at home with Austria, and whilst Poland didn’t lose ground to the Austrians, it was the visitors who were happier with that stalemate than Jerzy Brzeczek’s side.
Having also failed to score in these last two matches, the pressure is now on Poland to not only record a win at Latvia but also to hit the back of the net a few times as only 3 points separate them from 3rd placed Austria and qualification could be determined by goal difference.
