Onto the French top flight and a clash between Lille and Dijon as the betting tips continue in Ligue 1 at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy with the hosts looking to extend their unbeaten run in the domestic top flight and nail down second spot behind PSG.

2nd placed Lille have no European distractions from now until the end of the season and they’re making the most of it as the hosts have put together a decent seven match run without defeat in Ligue 1 which has lifted them behind only PSG at the top of the division.
Recent wins against Caen, Amiens, Marseille, Nice and Guingamp have maintained Lille’s push for an automatic Champions League spot and they hold a useful five point cushion ahead of 3rd placed Lyon ahead of this Sunday’s action.
The hosts will no doubt be keen to further extend this to eight points, and although they’ll have no say in Lyon’s tussle with Toulouse today, Lille possess a decent looking home record of 8-4-1 25/9 suffering just one defeat all season at their Stade Pierre-Mauroy which, ironically, was to Toulouse in a 2-1 loss.
They’ll no doubt be hoping that Toulouse can do the same at Lyon today, while Lille’s forwards, Pepe (16 goals), Bamba (9 goals) and Leao (7 goals) will be keen on adding to their goal tallies here this afternoon.

Dijon sit second from bottom in Ligue 1 with just 20 points to their name and find themselves five points adrift of safety and fourth from bottom club Amiens as they prepare for this tough trip to face an in-form Lille outfit.
Dijon’s current plight certainly hasn’t been helped by losing their last four matches on the trot in the French top flight as they’ve succumbed to losses against Angers SCO, Marseille, Nimes and Saint-Etienne, and indeed the visitors have managed to grab just one win from their last nine matches overall, thanks to a 2-0 home win over then struggling Monaco.
the story doesn’t get any better when looking at Dijon’s results away from home either as they’ve lost their last five away matches on the trot which is within an overall run of 11 matches without a win on their travels.
Dijon therefore possess a poor looking record of 2-3-8 10/20 on the road, in addition to failing to score in 9 of their 13 away matches to date which is a poor yield of goals away form home.
