Montenegro Preview – Can Montenegro build on recent win?
A 1-0 home win over Greece in a recent international friendly in March saw Montenegro return to winning ways and the hosts will be hoping they can build upon this welcome result having had to endure a spell of just one win in their preceding 11 matches overall.
However, there are some positives as Montenegro topped their group in League C in the previous Nations League campaign and they’ll now be keen to test their abilities against stronger nations, starting with Romania on Saturday, but the hosts have won just one of their last six home games overall.
Romania Preview – Can Romania’s consistency win out?
Although recent results on the international stage have been a little bit of a mixed bag where Romania have been concerned, the fact remains that Romania have suffered just two defeats out of their last nine matches in all competitions.
These losses were against Germany and Greece but the Romanians have also picked up four wins in this sequence in the shape of victories against Iceland, Liechtenstein, Armenia and Liechtenstein again along with draws with North Macedonia, Iceland and Israel.
