Monterrey Preview – Can Monterrey win back-to-back?
A 3-1 win away from home at Club America last weekend handed Monterrey their second win of this new Mexican Liga MX season and they’ll now return to the more familiar surroundings of their Estadio BBVA Bancomer where they’ll be looking to post back-to-back wins when Juarez come to town on Sunday evening.

Sunday’s visitors, Juarez, head into this tough looking clash away from home at Monterrey having failed to win any of their last four matches overall in the Liga MX following back-to-back defeats against Guadalajara (2-0 at home) and Cruz Azul (3-2 away) with draws either side of these losses against Pumas UNAM and Club Leon.
With just one win so far in this new Mexican top flight season which was gained in a 1-0 home win over Necaxa, Juarez find themselves in the lower reaches of the Liga MX in 14th place and are still without an away win this season.
Juarez have also failed to win any of their last four away matches in the Mexican top flight while the bigger picture shows that the visitors have won just three of their 17 matches in total away from home in the Liga MX, so they could have their work cut out here.
