North Macedonia Prediction – Can North Macedonia avoid third defeat on trot?

Tuesday night’s hosts, North Macedonia, have recently suffered back-to-back defeats to Poland and Austria, both of which were away from home, so no doubt they’ll be glad to be returning to their Toše Proeski Arena where they’ll be aiming to avoid a third defeat on the trot.

North Macedonia have picked up just 3 wins throughout their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign with 2 of these 3 being recorded against rock-bottom Latvia who are still without a single point to their name, winning 3-1 and 2-0 respectively.

A 2-1 home win against Slovenia was also welcome but defeats home and away to the two favourites of Group G, Poland and Austria, put paid to any hopes of a top two finish in this 6-nation group.

With a play-off place already assured via their performances in the Nations League, North Macedonia will look to revive their fortunes results-wise here, although backing a straight winner in this clash would be risky – instead, 6 of North Macedonia’s 9 matches to date have seen both teams score.

Israel Prediction – Can Israel also bounce back?

Although they too have secured a place in the play-offs for next year’s European Championships, Israel make their way over to North Macedonia having lost 4 of their last 6 matches overall in Group G following defeats to Poland home and away, Slovenia and Austria.

Brief respite was provided through a 1-1 draw at home with Tuesday night’s opponents, North Macedonia and a 3-1 home win against hapless Latvia, but overall, Israel’s poor results away from home cost the visitors a top two finish in the group stages.

An away record of 1-0-3 6/10 includes a 3-0 win at Latvia but their success on the road was short-lived as they then slumped to 3 defeats on the trot at Poland, Slovenia and Austria, which therefore rules out backing them for the straight win here.

However, 7 of their 9 matches overall in Group G have seen both teams score and with striker Zahavi (11 goals) in their attacking personnel, they stand a decent chance of scoring here.

Key-Facts – North Macedonia vs Israel

Betting Tips Verdict

Backing a winner here seems fraught with danger but both teams should at least score in this clash.
