Poland Prediction – Can Poland finish off the job?

Having already qualified for next year’s Euro 2020, Poland now have to ensure they take the most advantageous route via Pot One if they manage to beat tonight’s visitors, Slovenia, and other results go their way.

Another successful campaign under their belts, Poland have registered 7 wins from their 9 matches to date in Group G which includes remaining unbeaten on home soil so far along with having won their last 3 matches on the trot with victories over Latvia, North Macedonia and Israel.

Poland possess a strong home record which stands at 3-1-0 8/0 which includes 4 clean sheets on the trot while the bigger picture indicates that the hosts are now unbeaten in their last 15 Euro qualifiers at home.

This should therefore see a confident Poland outfit here on Tuesday night, especially as they’ve yet to taste defeat when taking on Slovenia at home in all of their previous 5 encounters in their own backyard.

Slovenia Prediction – Can Slovenia spoil Poland’s big night?

Slovenia have produced a mixed bag of results to date in Group G in this Euro 2020 campaign but they do head into this final match of the group stages on the back of a 1-0 home win against bottom nation, Latvia.

It’s been a stop-start sort of campaign to date for Slovenia as they started their group matches without a win from their opening 3 games following back-to-back draws with Israel 1-1 away and a 1-1 draw at home with North Macedonia, but a 1-0 defeat away at Austria meant that they’d gained just 2 points from a possible 9 on offer.

Slovenia then embarked upon a 3-match winning streak with victories gained over Latvia 5-0 away and back-to-back home wins against Poland 2-0 and Israel 3-2 which pushed Slovenia back into the reckoning.

However, the visitors were unable to maintain their momentum as they fell to crucial back-to-back defeats to North Macedonia and Austria, and they face a tough task of getting anything out of Poland away from home on Tuesday night.

Key-Facts – Poland vs Slovenia

  • Poland are unbeaten in their last 15 Euro qualifiers at home
  • Slovenia have won just 3 of their last 11 Euro qualifiers away from home
  • Poland are unbeaten in their previous 5 encounters at home against Slovenia

Betting Tips Verdict

Poland with winning momentum and consistency behind them should grab the points here.
