Feyenoord sit in 3rd place in the Eredivisie but find themselves 11 points adrift of second placed Ajax as it looks like the visitors will have to make do with a place in the top seven and a Europa League qualifier spot as they make their way to Eindhoven for this mouthwatering clash.
Recent form has been scratchy for Feyenoord as the visitors have gained just two wins from their last seven matches overall in the Dutch top flight which were convincing wins against Ajax 6-2 and a 4-0 thrashing of De Graafschap, with both of these wins coming at their Stadion Feijenoord in Rotterdam.
