Russia and Cyprus meet at the Krestovsky Stadium this Thursday in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier. Lack of goals has been the real issue for Nikos Kostenoglou’s side, as Cyprus have netted a mere three in eight qualifying fixtures. They drew 0-0 with Slovakia in their opener but have gone on to lose five of the next seven. Their only victory came against Slovenia on matchday three.

Cyprus, who have lost four of their last five qualifiers, will no doubt struggle at the Krestovsky Stadium on Thursday. The bookies are not giving them much hope, pricing the away win at whopping odds of 16/1.
