The pride of watching this team vying for supremacy in the Western Conference last season must feel like a distant memory for supporters and players alike. From finishing third in 2021 to sitting second bottom through the first 17 games of 2022, it has been a sharp fall back down to earth for manager Peter Vermes and his men, who reside four points from opponents Seattle Sounders and the MLS Playoffs.
