Sheffield Wednesday Preview – Can Owls get off to good start?

Sheffield Wednesday will be eager to go one step better this time around in League One after losing to Sunderland in last season’s play-off final, with manager, Darren Moore, tasked with the challenge of lifting this sleeping giant back into the Championship.

The Owls finished in 4th place at the end of last season and their success was built upon a solid record at home where they held stats of 16-5-2 48/18 which included finishing with an unbeaten run of nine games at home including a 4-1 romp over Saturday’s opponents, Portsmouth.
