Switzerland Prediction – Can Switzerland grab the points?
3rd placed Switzerland have 2 matches remaining of their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign and trail the top two nations in Group D, Republic of Ireland and Denmark, by just 1 point as we head into the penultimate round of matches in this group.
It’s been a reasonably successful campaign to date for the Swiss but it’ll all be for nothing if they’re edged out as only the top two finishers in the group will qualify for next year’s European Championships, but having lost just once to date, the Swiss will be confident that they can get a result over Georgia on Friday night.

Georgia Prediction – Can Georgia extend unbeaten run?
Being 4 points adrift of 2nd placed Denmark prior to their final match in Group D against Switzerland on Friday night, Georgia have no hope of achieving a top two finish for themselves but can still make life difficult for the hosts, Switzerland, as the visitors look to extend their unbeaten run in the group to 4 matches.
Georgia’s Euro 2020 campaign began in disastrous fashion as the visitors lost 3 of their first 4 matches in the group as they suffered defeats to Switzerland (2-0 at home) along with back-to-back losses away from home at Republic of Ireland 1-0 and a heavy 5-1 thrashing at Denmark 5-1.
The visitors have since recovered by recording home and away wins over bottom nation, Gibraltar as well as holding both Denmark and Republic of Ireland to 0-0 draws but it should be noted that both of these draws were achieved on home turf in Tbilisi.
