As well as European action, there’s also domestic action in League Two with newly promoted Tranmere Rovers taking on Mansfield Town with betting tips for the fourth tier.
Tranmere Rovers have made a mixed start in their return to the Football League as they opened their account with a 2-2 draw away at Stevenage in what was a decent point for Rovers on the first day of the new season.
Rovers built upon that point with a 1-0 home win over Cheltenham Town but then suffered a 3-2 loss away at Swindon Town on the weekend so they’ll be looking to bounce back and get something from this encounter.
Incidentally, it’s just one win from their last 12 league matches for the hosts, Tranmere Rovers.
Mansfield Town have made a solid start to their new League Two campaign as they remain undefeated after their first three matches of the season, having beaten Newport County 3-0 at home on opening day which was followed by back-to-back draws against Yeovil Town and Colchester United.
This start means that Mansfield are now unbeaten in their last eight matches overall in the fourth tier, and The Stags may well fancy their chances of catching Tranmere cold at Prenton Park on Tuesday night.
With just two defeats from their last eight on the road, Mansfield have shown they’re no pushovers away from their One Call Stadium and they’ll be keen to go a step further this time around as they narrowly missed out on a play-off spot at the end of last season.
