Tromso Preview – Can Tromso pull further away at top?
The current Norwegian 1st Division league leaders, Tromso, will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to five matches on Tuesday night when they play host to Lillestrom and in turn, extend their lead at the top of the division too.
Recent wins against HamKam 2-0 away and a 2-1 home win over Ull/Kisa along with points picked up in draws with Sogndal and KFUM have helped maintain Tromso’s place at the top of the domestic second tier, and with an impressive home record which stands at 6-1-0 16/5 under their belts so far this season, the hosts look set for further success here.

Like Tromso, Lillestrom were also relegated from last season’s Eliteserien, so this looks a tasty clash between two teams that will be desperate to make a swift return to the Norwegian top flight but two of Lillestrom’s three away wins have been against teams sitting in the bottom half of the division.
