Roar are five points behind Wanderers but do have the significant advantage of three games in hand over their opponents, meaning a win here would be a real boost to their hopes of overtaking their rivals between now and the end of the season.

Brisbane have been more productive on their travels than at home to this point in the season and that’s down in large part to their defensive record. Despite being seventh in the league coming into this game, Moon’s team have the second best defence – only Sydney have conceded fewer.
If Brisbane can add a bit more threat going forward then there’s no doubt they have the foundations to kick on and improve, not only to get into the playoffs but also be a threat for the final series themselves.
