Halifax Town have been drifting down the National League table in recent times and they’re now just two league positions and four points above the relegation zone as they look to buck a recent trend of matches without a win.
The Shaymen have gone six league matches without a win in the non league top flight, and possess a rather ordinary looking away record of 3-6-7 12/22 which includes firing blanks in each of their last three on the road.
In fact, one win from their last 11 on their travels doesn’t fill me with any confidence that they can turn things around here, especially as they’re up against a strong Wrexham outfit in their own back-yard.
