National League Tips

WREXHAM v HAVANT & WATERLOOVILLE

Saturday 6th October 2018 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

Football – England – National League Betting Tips

We start off Saturday’s action in the English lower leagues with a look at the National League as high-flying Wrexham take on strugglers Havant & Waterlooville – read on for our betting tips…

Wrexham sit in fourth place in the non-league top flight having lost just twice so far this season, both losses being away from home at Solihull Moors and Sutton United. However, the welsh club have been pretty solid overall and with recent wins over Braintree Town, Ebbsfleet United and Barnet, The Dragons have shown they can be ruthless against the lesser lights in the division.

In addition, Wrexham’s home record stands at  4-3-0  12/3 which not only includes wins over last season’s play-off finalists, Boreham Wood 3-0, but also victories over Aldershot Town, Ebbsfleet United and Barnet as well as chalking up five clean sheets in the process.

Havant & Waterlooville find themselves in the bottom four of the National League in what is their first ever campaign in the non-league top flight, and the Hampshire outfit still seem to be coming to terms with the big step up from the National League South.

Lee Bradbury’s side have won twice so far this season but they make their way to Wales on the back of a disappointing five match sequence without a win which includes defeats to Harrogate Town, Sutton United and Solihull Moors.

The visitors possess a fairly average looking away record of  1-2-4  12/20 but their main concern has been the amount of goals their defence has shipped which is the most away from home in the division. With no clean sheets and conceding 2 goals or more in 6 of their 7 away matches to date, Havant are likely to have their backs to the wall here.

Wrexham have lost just twice in their last 29 matches at home, and my betting tips will back them at home again in this one.
