Race 4 from Ripon on Monday sees 9 declared runners taking on the Champion Two Yrs Old Trophy Stakes.

Queen Of Rio to rule at Ripon?

QUEEN OF RIO scored on her debut, which was in a 5f maiden here at Ripon. After a below par second racetrack appearance, she was back in form last time out.

She fought superbly to take second place in a Listed race at York, again at the 5f distance. She should have the extra in her to be competitive taking on a longer trip here.

Albadri could have a say

This is a big jump up in class for ALBADRI but he did put in a decent showing on his debut. He scored in a 10 runner maiden at Windsor from a huge 100/1 SP at the 6f distance.

Roman Dynasty a threat if he bounces back

There was a nice debut win for ROMAN DYNASTY in August at Wolverhampton. That was from a 66/1 SP.

He found the going a little tougher when he was thrown into the Gimcrack Stakes 10 days ago.

But still, in the tough company, he showed fairly well and there could be something to build on.

Rest of the Runners

BLOWING WIND has finished fourth in both of his efforts so far. He is from a yard in form, and one of those efforts was at course and distance.

NASTASE has been in the frame in each of his four runs so far. He got off the mark at the third time of asking. He looked to have improved further last time out, but this is a big step up.

TERRICHANG goes in just her second appearance after scoring a second place on her debut. It was a promising enough start from her and there should be plenty more to come.

THE FLYING GINGER scored on her debut as well. That was a 6f trip and Chester and the notable thing there was a good turn of speed to finish the job.
