Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Italy Betting Tips – UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifier, 15th November 19.45pm

Bosnia & Herzegovina welcome Italy to the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica for a UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying Group J fixture on Friday night. After winning all eight of their qualifiers, the Italians are already safely through to the finals, while Bosnia look very unlikely to join them in the tournament via the direct route. Roberto Mancini’s men will be targeting two more wins to maintain their 100% record in Group J.

Bosnia & Herzegovina News and Form – Can Bosnia pull off a shock result?

Although Bosnia & Herzegovina need a miracle to qualify to the Euro 2020 finals automatically, Robert Prosinecki’s men are assured of a play-off place. Bosnia go into this clash five points adrift of second-place Finland with two matches left. They are also behind Armenia on the head-to-head record.

After securing an impressive 4-1 home win over in-form Finland in Zenica, the Golden Lilies undone that hard work as they were beaten 2-1 by Greece in their last outing. Adnan Kovacevic’s own goal in the 88th minute gifted the Greeks a 2-1 win at the Olympic Stadium in Athens.

Getting anything from Friday’s clash with the group winners will be an extremely tough task for Robert Prosinecki’s side. Bosnia & Herzegovina may be on home soil, but the bookies have them priced at 21/10 to cause an upset against the Italians.

Italy News and Form – Italians to keep up 100% record?

Roberto Mancini’s Italy have been the real deal in Group J, winning all eight of their matches thus far. The Italians will be going for ten in a row when they face Bosnia & Herzegovina and Armenia in their final two matches.

Gli Azzurri have been very astute in front of goal, scoring a staggering 25 times along the way. At the time of writing, only Belgium, Russia and England have netted more. In their last outing back in October, Italy walloped Liechtenstein 5-0 at Rheinpark Stadion. Andrea Belotti (2), Federico Bernardeschi, Alessio Romangoli and Stephan El Shaarawy were the scorers in Vaduz.

Italy came from behind to beat Bosnia & Herzegovina when the two teams squared off at the Juventus Stadium in Turin in the reverse game back in June. Can La Nazionale do the double over the Bosnians this Friday?

Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Italy Predictions

Italy win: Mancini’s troops are in incredible form at the moment, winning nine in a row in all competitions. In fact, the Italians have not lost since a UEFA Nations League defeat to Portugal back in September 2018, winning ten and drawing two of their following 12.

Italy have not put a foot wrong in Euro 2020 qualifiers, and the four-time FIFA World Cup winners will go into the tournament as one of the favourites to lift the trophy. Before then though, the Italians will be gunning for a ninth successive qualifying victory on Friday.

I fancy the away team to win this one by a margin, so put some money on Italy to win -1 at 3/1. I’m also backing Mancini’s team to be winning at half time and full time in Zenica, which is available at 11/4.
