Cardiff City News and Form – Can the Bluebirds stretch unbeaten home run?

Cardiff City have not won away from home since beating Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford on the final day of last season’s Premier League campaign. However, they have been superb at the Cardiff City Stadium this term, picking up 13 points from a possible 15.

Warnock’s troops have secured home wins over Luton Town, Huddersfield Town, Middlesbrough and Queens Park Rangers, with three of those wins being by a one-goal margin. Meanwhile, they also drew 1-1 with Fulham at the Cardiff City Stadium.

 

 

Cardiff will be hoping to hit back after losing 4-2 to West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns before the international break. With this one taking place on home soil, the Welsh outfit will certainly fancy their chances of picking up all three points.

Cardiff City win: On paper, these two teams seem pretty well matched. Both sides will fancy their chances of finishing in the top six, while the Owls sit three points above the Bluebirds in the table ahead of Friday’s clash in the Welsh capital.

As I touched on, Cardiff have been excellent on their own patch so far this term, dropping just two points from five league matches. This could be a close one, but my money is going on a narrow win for the home team at 6/5.
