Egypt are the hosts of the Cup of Nations and they opened things up with a 1-0 success over Zimbabwe. Then it was back to back 2-0 wins from them over DR Congo and Uganda, Mo Salah and Ahmed El Mohamady both scoring one goal each on both of those latter wins. So it has been fairly comfortable for them so far and they were expected to win the group anyway.
