Online bookmaker BetFred have a double promotion running for Belgian Grand Prix betting on Sunday. McLaren’s Jenson Button raced away to a very comfortable Pole Position in his McLaren, and that was the first time he has hit the front of the grid since the 2009 Monaco Grand Prix. By the way qualification went Jenson Button looks a strong front runner to take the chequered flag as well, because the Brit was extremely dominant and most of the Drivers Championship contenders were well out of the picture. This is the return of Formula One betting after a break and Button found some much unexpected speed while everyone else seemed to really struggle. His team-mate Lewis Hamilton goes from eighth on the grid. Button is so far back off Drivers’ Championship leader Fernando Alonso though that he is highly unlikely to take the title himself, but a win here could shake up the standings.

That is because of the topsy turvy looking starting grid. Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso starts from sixth on the grid but should be in a good position to at least challenge for a podium finish, with the likes of Kamui Kobayashi and Pastor Maldonado ahead of him. Alonso is a good forty points ahead of second placed Mark Webber in the Drivers Championship and two points back further is the defending champion Sebastian Vettel. Both Red Bull drivers Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel start outside of the top ten. Well placed though from fourth on the grid is Kimi Raikkonen who is sitting fifth in the Drivers’ Championship and could make a big move if he can grab maximum points on Sunday. The Finnish star in his Lotus goes from fourth on the grid and had been showing a lot of good pace and form ahead of the break.
