She completed a hattrick last time out, landing a win on her reappearance. That was in the Hardwicke Stakes at Ascot last month.

That was a comfortable victory and if more rain comes along as expected, then the chances of Wonderful Tonight will be boosted further.

Wonderful Tonight is a dual Group 1 winner and looks like once again being a big player.

Can Albaflora get closer to the favourite?

ALBAFLORA goes up against Wonderful Tonight once again. She opposed that rival in the Hardwicke at Ascot.

But she was a distant six lengths back of the winner in that one. But there is a chance that Albaflora can close the gap.

She is 3lb better off against that rival this time.

There was a lot of progress made by her last season and back in May, Albaflora cruised to a victory in a Listed race.

Divinely of interest at Goodwood

With a weight-for-age allowance, DIVINELY is of a good place to claim interest for the Lillie Langtry.

She comes in at a quote of 9/1* (odds recorded at 20:16 GMT on July 30th, 2021 at Unibet).

Divinely is a Group 3 winner, landing that on a much shorter 1m trip as a juvenile. But she has steadily crept up in trip this season and has acquitted herself well in doing so.

It was in the Irish Oaks that she had her latest run, just a couple of weeks ago and found only Snowfall too good on the day there.

She’s interested in this trip for Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore is booked for the ride. It will be interesting to see how well she does against the big two.

Can Believe In Love make a show?

There has been a lot of improvement from BELIEVE IN LOVE who may well be able to challenge for the places.

She picked up a Group 3 success three weeks ago at Leopardstown, a big improvement from her reappearance effort.

So she’s back in song and Believe In Love was highly progressive last season. Believe In Love’s form last season included a Group 3 success over in France as well.

Roger Varian’s 4-year-old is heading in the right direction and looks to be in a competitive enough mood at the moment.

Golden Pass to improve further?

Is there more to come from GOLDEN PASS? Very likely, but will it be enough to get her a win in this one?

She is going the right way with two wins in three runs this season. The latest of those victories came in a Newmarket listed event a couple of weeks ago.

Golden Pass comes up on a trip for this one and that will demand further progress from her.

Looking back further that’s four wins in her last six runs and warrants some respect.

CABALETTA gets the visor on for the first time. She has won at the listed level before as well as having placed in Group runs as well. She has been in the frame in her last two so is no forlorn hope.

MAKAWEE is a former course and distance winner. She has stepped up this season running well in listed/Group 3 contests. The mare struggled a month ago last time out in the Lancashire Oaks.

TRAISHA was never a threat at Gowran on her latest run. She has won at this distance before, taking a score at the 1m 6f distance at the end of last year. But Traisha looks to have something to find.

TRIBAL CRAFT looks to have gotten better as a five-year-old. She is not without a chance in this one for trainer Andrew Balding.

Tribal Craft won the Bronte Cup (Group 3) on her penultimate and followed up with a credible run in the Lancashire Oaks.

She just goes from strength to strength and is a former Group 1 winner, so has all the quality and class in her to take this.

DIVINELY piques plenty of interest with her allowance in the contest. She looks like a pretty decent prospect who could go a lot further.

We are going to pass on Albaflora as we don’t think that she will do enough to close the gap on the favourite and instead lean towards the progressive BELIEVE IN LOVE to take a place finish.
